Project put together as a VR demo for when I was a faculty member at RIT. It’s basketball in VR for free-throwing.

Created in Unreal 4.

This was created in one day using some pre-made assets and some custom assets. The ball is just a physics asset. The controller is relatively simple. The VR hands allow you to grab the ball attaching it to the hand mesh. When the player throws, the attachment is broken and the ball is pushed from the hand of the player. If the ball goes into the basket, confetti particles are released from the hoop.
